I am using the Net Return Pro Series with the simulator hood and screen, the screen size will be 88" wide by 84" tall. There is just less than 36" from ceiling to top of screen. I typically am hitting slightly off center to the right because of garage constraints, right now I am hitting just over 6' from the net which will be the screen. I would like to push this back to at least 7'. I have the no fly added extension on the frame to catch high flyers. Usually this only happens from the LW but if its a long shot with the AW I will hit the extension. I have no idea how some of these people are hitting 8,9 or 10' of more from the screen! how do they not hit the ceilings? I plan on extending the no fly extension arms so that it will give me another foot or so protection. I assume the projector has to be mounted directly in the center of the screen, I would feel more comfortable offsetting to the side if that is possible, maybe with the "cornerstone" help. I am using the Sky Track unit and would perfur to ceiling mount instead of floor mount. I have plenty of room behind me so I could mount the unit there. I just don't think I can mount in front of me as there just doesn't seem to be enough "safe" room. I would also like to keep the projector as close to the ceiling as possible. In the future I would like to upgrade to a wider enclosure so I could get the 16 X 9 Projection. it sounds like most people are either using the Optma or the BentQ. I assume I'll be using the square projection. Right now I typically use E6 but will be switching over to TGC 2019 shortly. I have a Dell Alienware PC that has more than the minimum requirements for the TGC 2019.
Thank you in advance as I know I'll get plenty of sound advice!
