I have a Carls golf enclosure with 4 feet depth for the tent/bay. I am planning to mount on ceiling an Optoma GT1080HDR Darbee projector which is 8 feet away (front of projector to screen).
The height of the simulator is 94” and the height of the ceiling is 97”.
I plan to stand directly underneath the projector, Im short only 5,5”. so even with natural swing plane I would not hit the projector.
My question is: How will I know if the display coming out from the projector will be project/cast on to the top of the tent horizontal beam before it image hits the screen?
Should I be getting a ceiling mount that tilts then use the tilt option on the settings?
What are some ideal ceiling mounts for this model?
