Skytrak for sale with FMJ protective case

As hard as it is for me to do, I'm selling my Skytrak unit. I ran across a GC2 deal a couple of days ago that I simply couldn't pass up. If you've been around these forums long enough, you know how much of a proponent I am of the Skytrak. You can also look at my tournament scores to see how mine has performed for me. That outlook didn't change last night when I got my GC2 setup, I was getting incredibly similar numbers as my current Skytrak. Anyway, the unit has been very well cared for and comes with the original box, charging cable, manual, etc. I bought it new and have been the only owner. I'm also including the FMJ metal case I got from awisnia. I have the Play & Improve package good through October 2017, but I'm unaware if those can be transferred to another owner or not. I will certainly call Skygolf and try to achieve that.

Yeah, had no option but to pull the trigger on that. The USB port is busted, so I'm stuck with 3.7 firmware unless I send it in. But the bluetooth is flawless and it's a fairly new unit.

OMG than that has beat anything i've ever seen. I though the bluetooth was busted. No way to do firmware over BT? If 3.7 works then that is friggin awesome. Wonder if it's just the port came loose on a solder joint or something.

Wow I can't believe the deal you got on that! I would open it up and take a picture of the broken USB connector. I'm sure it could be fixed but I don't know what foresight would say if they saw a hand-soldered connector on the board if you ever sent it back in for something else.

It was one of those right place, right time kind of things (something I never have been very good at). The guy was only 1.5 hours away and I got lucky and saw it right after it was listed. I offered to come pick it up and bring cash, so he kept me in front of the line.It turned out to be an apple compatible unit with a serial # of > 10,000. I was stoked. Already have it connected through bluetooth to my PC and I'll start the process of transferring TGC over tonight. Shout out to Aeroburner and Goatbarn for some helpful advice along the way.

I thought about looking in to repairing the USB port myself as well, but wasn't sure what that would mean if it ever did need a repair that I for sure couldn't perform. So for now I'm going to let it ride and just go with 3.7 firmware.

GolfWRX, the mecca for all things golf related. The classified section is where I buy 90% of my golf equipment. Tons of tour-issue level equipment in there too. Only other place I have seen launch monitors and the like, other than here.
