Looks like some scams

These two listings have pictures to email prior to bidding and said that they would sell them for $2500 each. I did, tried to have them change the buy it now to $2500 so that I could buy them through eBay and then pay through PayPal. He said that even though the listing offers paypal as a payment, he only accepts wire deposits directly to his bank (due to a divorce his paypal account is temporarily frozen). Even after asking what would happen if I would be the high bidder and I paid through paypal, he said that he would refund my money.

Yes, that style listing pops up quite frequently for GC2, Flightscope, and Trackman. Usually there will be listings for all three launch monitors at the same time with the same email address. The scammer hacks a legit ebay account so it will come from someone with lots of feedback, but they always want payment outside of ebay and paypal. Definitely steer clear of any of those listings. As long as you buy through ebay, you are covered. Ebay pretty much always sides with the buyer in disputes. It may just take a little while to get your money back.

Lol! I inquired about the GC2 with the AMD guy and he told me he needed the money for bills. He's very fast to respond to emails though, I'll give him that.

I used to report a couple of those listings per week; the $2500 slide is easy to spot. They seem to come in waves. Someone must bite every now and then or they wouldn't be doing it.

Ya they do a good job at it. Like Andy said, they find someone with great feedback and post to their account. The listing seller also had somewhat similar type items for sale, esp in regards to price.
I reported both listings. Just a shame though
