    Foresight GC2 - A6836 Serial - $4k + shipping

Had a friend who isn't an active member on here who asked me to post up the sale of his gc2.

    1) Note: Backlight for LCD doesn't work. The backlight really isn't critical for it to work well. If you are lighting up your hitting area, you should be able to read the LCD screen without the backlight. I turn my backlight on on mine probably 50% of the time.

    2) Everything else works great

    3) Includes Spare Flash

    4) Includes protective shield (not the metal one the other plastic one)

    5) The is an A unit which means it works with the free IPad app.

    6) DOES NOT INLCUDE ANY SOFTWARE

Please PM me the offers or interest and I will pass them along.

    Thanks,
    Steve

Any idea when the unit was purchased? Was it purchased new, or used? Refurbished?

Just a heads up. Seller requested payment through friends and family.

I was than told buyer is responsible for PayPal fees and any since seller is in Canada you may get hit with custom fees to make sure the package is properly insured and the buyer is protected.

Seller is firm on price and wants $4k net. so buyer pays shipping/paypal fees etc. You can buy with paypal protection but you need to pay the paypal fees.

Seller doesn't have to sell, he won't be able to play much sim golf for a year so he wants the cash if he can get $4k , otherwise he will keep the unit until he can play more often.

Anybody ever purchase and have an item shipped from CA to US? Curious on costs/fees/import taxes for this. Is it related to cost of the item, weight, etc?

Import taxes are based on the value of the item. Shipping cost is the least of your worries

I was still really considering this until the Canada portion came in. Just not familiar with importing anything like this and from the limited reading i've done so far, it sounds like it could go anywhere from really smooth to a complete headache with unexpected costs.

It becomes a bit harder to predict when shipping expensive things. You want to make sure it’s properly insures for shipping, you also want to properly declare the amount to customs. Getting caught declaring the wrong amount is no fun at all.

My brother was importing two items and had to pay the duty on them. It made the cost savings not worth the hassle. We have family in Ontario, so it’s usally not a problem for us. We ship to them and they bring down.

Welcome! It’s still available. He is firm on netting $4k so buyer pays all additional costs/fees. He is near Ottawa.
