How does the transfer work if it’s a non-dongle version?

It’s a login through their Play website.
I deactivate the courses and you would download FSX software and courses and then activate on your computer and change login details.

Very simple and beats the dongle, the practice options in Foresight FSX are fantastic, it’s the only software I use for practice.

Only reason I’m selling is I got a new GC2 and HMT and I don’t need two copies.

Not needed as no difference apart from 4k courses, I assume not many people have a 4k projector.
I have a Panasonic PZ580 projector and looks really good, it's surprised me how good FSX is, TGC has not been used since I started using it.

Is there not a $500 user transfer fee on that like everything else Foresight make? You can't just load it and activate it on a new computer - it'll all have to go through Foresight to get them to re-enable it.

There is also quite a significant difference between FSX and FSX2018. Also, FSX is no longer supported and won't receive any more updates.

Ouch....the dreaded $500, even in the UK!, yeah the 2018 dual monitor support interests me, not to fussed about the graphics.

Foresight update for FSX 2018 will be a new version - FSX 2019 with an upgrade price to match.

In the UK FSX costs £3000 inc vat, I would rather pay half and not have a few minor features that the average player won’t use. All main feature and practice features are the same.

I have both versions and I cannot see any difference between them, possibly minor differences but not worth an upgrade in my opinion.

You can deactivate/activate on computers as I have completed it several times. You can also completely change profile details including username, password, contact details email address etc, no need to contact Foresight.

I run a software company, Foresight cannot charge any money if you want to sell software you have bought, against the law no matter what they have in their terms - in Europe anyway that would be the case but I assume the case worldwide. Do you think Microsoft want computer companies selling cheap oem versions of Microsoft products on eBay. The fact is they wouldn’t but legally if it is a valid license then they can’t do anything about it, Foresight hands is also tied in same way.

Before spouting laws and facts about what Foresight can and can’t do, have you actually taken 5 mins to call them and check? I know for a fact they charge to transfer ownership of courses from one user to another, so can’t see why they’d not do the same with FSX.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion, but FSX2018 is a big leap forward in more than just graphics. None of the new courses work with FSX anymore for a start.

Agreed... maybe someone will be happy to pay half the price of FSX2018 for FSX.
I bought the exact package you’re selling back in Sept 2016 when the Hazeltine Ryder Cup was on for $2495, and got 4 additional courses thrown in free too.

I’m selling a software package that is half the cost price in the U.K plus a free course. Can easily be transferred as I have done it twice. FSX is basically identical to new version, plently of posts of people complaining about that on here. Anybody want FSX PM me.

I did have to pay a transfer fee for buying courses. There were about 30 so it's a fair amount of work transferring the ownership to another account I can understand a fee there. I doubt there would be a fee for a simple change of ownership for FSX and you could simply provide the credentials and transfer without them knowing. Now, there maybe the "become a customer fee ($500)" if someone wanted to upgrade to FSX2018. That might be worth finding out for your potential buyers. It might increase your buying pool if it's free and possible to upgrade at the standard rate.

BTW, FSX2018 is quite a but better than FSX for numerous reasons. For basic practice there isn't much difference but if you play the sim and use the cams it's way better.
