How much space do you need to use this indoors?

I don't have the FS book with me but I know the unit sits 10 feet behind the point of impact. The more room between impact and the net the better but I believe 11-12 feet between impact and the net is minimum. So you total length from FS to net should be 22-22 feet minimum.

Minimum space required for the "short indoor" mode is 8' from ball to screen + 8 fit from ball to unit - so 16'.

normal "indoor mode" requires 13' ft of ball flight and 8'-11' from ball to unit.

And no, sorry, I can't tell you (yet) how accuracy or shot detection capabilities might be different for the two modes (if any).
