I built a golf simulator a couple of years ago using the OptiShot. I upgraded the firmware to make it an OptiShot 2. I also added the thicker turf top to it. The impact screen is a heavy woven fabric. I can't remember the brand, but it is the real deal and in perfect shape. The project didn't work out the way I wanted and so I didn't use it much. I hung the screen so that I could roll it up to put it away. I maybe played 3 or 4 rounds using almost golf balls.
I will take some pictures of the optishot itself tonight.
I also have an Optoma GT720 projector that I purchased for the setup on Ebay (https://www.ebay.com/itm/173670168512). I can pull the listing if you are interested in the whole setup.
