I already have E6 1.6 and all the courses like you. Just wanted to say that you asking price is an incredible deal to anyone who is interested. I love E6 software and the courses. Great option if you have buddies over and want to play great courses with most not offered on FSX.
Basically just piggybacking your post to say this is an absolute steal!!!!!

Col Forbin, I agree E6 is fantastic. Actually has more options than FSX . But , once you decide to go GCQUAD you’re married to FSX

I too use E6 with the GC2 and have it along with TGC & E6. E6 courses are very well done and I think they , have great tracks with pretty damn good graphics. Probably not quite up there with TGC 2019, but still light years better than FSX. I love Foresight hardware, and the Quad or Hawk would be a no brainer, but I just wish they would drop there fascination with making the buyer use solely their software. You have to have FSX 2018 if you buy a Quad, which is fine, but let the customers have other options as well. I think many more would make a switch knowing that you could use the Quad or Hawk with any other of the software options. It's not going to happen, which is sad for the customers and also damaging to Foresight when it tries to finally compete in the consumer sim world!

I just purchased a GC2. Will this need to be transferred to the GC2 or does the hardware not matter? Also, with connect out, is this supported any longer?

I don't believe the hardware matters. You will need to get the protee interface which comes with GSX. (GSX reads the output data from the GC2 and transfers it to TGC & E6). I believe it will still be supported, however, there will be no updates/enhancements to it going forward. Trugolf still sells it on their website, so I would hope they would still provide fixes.

You do need to "transfer" it to any new computer but since the OP/Seller was using with GC2 and there is no change in the sensor type - there is no cost for that transfer. Just a simple process to register it for a different computer.

Thanks StuartG. One more question just because I’ve been doing a bit more research. I currently don’t have TGC or the protege interface. Would I be able to use without that. I’m not sure which software I want to commit to at this point. Thanks again.

No E6 doesn't provide protee interface. I've already got that confirmed. Trugolf has nothing to do with providing protee interface as they only enable the protee license onto E6 1.6. Are you saying you got protee interface for free from Protee CS? Protee said the only way to get protee interface is either buy Protee hardware or buy TGC. I ended up buying TGC so now I have protee interface.

Well first of all. All sensor integration for E6 is handled by the sensor folks (e.g. Protee, not truegolf). So in that sense Trugolf doesn't handle it directly - but they do package what the Protee integration team provides. So there is certainly A Protee interface included with E6. Whether it's an interface that works with GSX or not is the question.

Where did your confirmation come from?

I'm just passing on what Protee C.S. told me when I asked them about getting my GC2 up and running with E6 1.6. I was specifically told the only thing other than the E6 protee sensor support that I needed was to get GSX. But - as I already said - it's not something I've been able to verify or not yet. If it's not the case, it wouldn't be the first time I've got bad info from some companies customer support people. No matter how well intentioned, mistakes do happen.

Stuart, I already said it above: from Trugolf and Protee. You need to buy either protee hardware or TGC to use protee interface. You can’t just have E6 1.6 to use with GC2.

E6 is configured to “protee”. From there, GC2 talks to GSX . Works flawlessly.
