I am building a sim in my garage. I purchased the gcquad. I know absolutely nothing about computers but I am wondering what gaming pc is going to run my fsx software without any freezing. Just looking for a very very good gaming pc.

If you ever think you’ll be in a 4K Projector....get a TGC 1080 or 2070+. CPU you want a i7 6700 or better. There’s some i5s that are equivalent so you can check those out as well. -
I just went through this process, so perhaps I can be of some help. Since I think it's safe to say you won't be building your own PC, the key to your build will be the graphics card. Any new PC you buy that comes bundled with a high end graphics card will have a good enough set of specs to run FSX. (PC makers won't bundle a high-end graphics card with a low-end processor or insufficient amount of memory.) As cooke23 mentioned, you'll probably want a higher-end graphics card if you're using a 4K projector, but you're otherwise fine with a GTX 1060 6GB or higher. Here's how I'd spec things out if I were you...
4K: any of these --> RTX 2060 / GTX 1070 Ti / GTX 1080 / GTX 2070 / GTX 1080 Ti / GTX 2080
non-4K: any of these --> GTX 1060 Ti 6GB / GTX 1660 / GTX 1070 / GTX 1660 Ti
This is a good deal on a highly future-proofed and extremely powerful PC.
This is a good deal on a laptop that has plenty of horsepower to run FSX but probably not in 4K.
Given I'll be using a WUXGA projector (16:10 or 1920x1200), I went with the GTX 1660 Ti in a desktop PC I built.Comment
