Somebody needs to start making a cheaper version. Not the one on ebay, it looks like junk. I'm in need of one too, and I'm pretty sure myself and the OP aren't the only ones

Ive got the one you don't like. It works but i'm not sure it's necessary. I was way more worried about hitting the skytrak. Gc2 seems to be in a safer position. I actually like it because it's square and I'm 100 % confident its perpendicular to my target. Check pics. No alignment rod.

I don't know that answer. Ive never hit it before. Hopefully a shot that far off line wouldn't have a lot of steam on it. If I put the case directly in front of a ball hit by my driver, i'm thinking I would do some damage to the case. It's no shank tank.

I guess I should have asked how solid is the case? Good thickness? Does it feel cheap?

It works for me but it's not durable like a metal case. I would think the plexi would protect a shot. I hope I never find out.
