You wouldn’t happen to have a TGC upgrade you’re not going to be using any longer, do you?

ScottHorman I never did the TGC upgrade the 15 pack was enough for what I was using it for.

Is there a particular reason you are selling it? Clip problems? Didn’t work well? What computer were you running it on? Do I have access to the TGC software because you registered it?

I rarely use it anymore once I upgraded to SkyTrak so as part of my PXG for heroes program discount i figured I would sell this to get some of the expense back.

          Clip problems?
No problems with the clips as longs as you do not over tighten then. I actually prefer the old clips over the new ones, the new ones are more flimsy and just seem like they would break easier but I have not had any issues with the clips.

          Didn’t work well?
The systems works great once you get it dialed in for your clubs. This is only measuring swing path, swing speed and club face all the ball data is predicted from what your swing did so if your hitting it in the toe or heel there is a good chance it will not pick that up and kill your distance like it should but it is very good about getting the flight correct. I took it to local PGA Superstore and used it on my phone app along side their GC2 and I was amazed at how often it was within 2mph predicted ball speed and ball flight was very similar (Draw or Fade). Once I got SkyTrak I compared it again and the results were similar to those with the GC2.

What computer were you running it on?
HP Pavilion DV7 Notebook with the dedicated graphics card to always on.

Do I have access to the TGC software because you registered it?
Yes, this comes with the original TGC with a 15 course pack.

All that said you do have to take the time to get the sensor in the correct place on your clubs and change the settings for your clubs to match what your club set measurements are. Once you get these two correct then it is in my opinion awesome for what it does. I was planning on using it along with SkyTrak but found you have to have the full TGC for SkyTrak and was not interested in purchasing TGC at the price they want for it and the ball data from SkyTrak gives me enough information for my practice sessions to be of value.

Thanks your your detailed response. I am going back and forth whether to get one since either I have to set it up in the basement with a hitting net, but that would mean I can't use another longer than a 5 iron because of clearance. The other option is in a garage, but I would have to pull my car out, setup the net, setup the laptop, and then hit. I am just not sure my laptop is strong enough to run the program, and I don't want to meddle with buying something new or refurbished just to run the program.

One thing you can do with the R motion is simulate a round with your irons i.e. use your 5 iron and tell the software you are using a driver, obviously not the greatest solution but you can at least play the courses. Before I moved to the garage i was in my basement and couldn't go higher than a hybrid.

I started with the Rukket net (Still have it not sure why..lol) and was lucky enough to get the great deal on the SportScreen so now I have that installed in the garage and roll it up and down each time I am setting up. I also have to move the wifes car out of the garage, which includes setting everything up and tearing it back down each time. I have it down to where it takes me about 5 minutes to set up and another 5 minutes to put everything away counting moving the car in and out.
