eBay has boat loads of used and refurbished projectors. Give it a check.

I have my Benq 1080st that I could consider selling. Not too many hours on it. Reason for selling is that I moved my sim early days from my garage to my current set-up, but that my current set-up is too bright for the projector (still good, I just wanted more lumens). Thus, when I got my panasonic, I put this one away and was just going to use it for 3d going forward possibly.
