I hope that laptop has $3,500 worth of gold inside of it because that’s how far off you are on pricing.

How do you figure it's that far off? I just bought a GC2 and FSX2020 from a forum members with almost the same package (FSX and CPO GC2 under warranty) and price that foresight is offering but didn't get the devices registered in my name ($500) and the protective case ($200). The OP is offering a laptop as well - how do you figure that a CPO GC2 and FSX2020 with 8 courses is only worth $4000 (by your own math)?

+3 ... not sure how that $4k number is being arrived at. If the Foresight Price is $7,000 than I would say the OP's price is not far off. The laptop specs do seem a little light but it surely isn't $4k, I think $6k is fair. Buyer gets a CPO, 8 courses and protective case either way. Buyer pays $500 for a transfer fee. They save $500 total and get a laptop that will work in the short term. Doesn't seem like $4k is remotely fair for both sides.

Private party selling prices are typically 30%-40% less then when buying from the OEM. FSX is typically a throw in when selling and the cost of doing business with Foresight when buying from them. When you figure in the $500 transfer fee + a protective case, your about $3000 too high. Now, that’s at the moment because they are running that deal till the end of month. That’s all I was saying..Just a heads up to you and all. As far the laptop, those specs are years old. Has a value of maybe $150. Today you can buy a well equipped desktop with the latest RTX 2060 Super for just over $1,000.

Where on earth have you ever seen a FSX2020 as a throw in? FSX2020 sells between 1500-2400 after market on this site. You may see the old FSX as a throw in, but certainly not the latest versions that run 3000 new from Foresight. And as others have said, you HAVE to buy it when buying from Foresight. That deal they have now is an awesome one - to say that you are expecting a 30-40% discount when not buying from an OEM is not what I have experienced. IMO you are just trolling to find a deal - if you don't like the deal, don't pay attention to it or buy it.

you need FSX if you are using it for game improvement. If all you want is the sim then maybe not but FSX is never a throw in. I would also say with the current 7K special with a 6 month warranty then 7500 might be high but no way is this only 4KLast edited by soupy; 07-21-2020, 09:56 PM.

John i dont think that private party sales are 30-40% later especially when the product is unopened. I apologize for trying to make a small profit of a few hundred dollars and that foresight has an incredible special right now.

I think 6k is the correct price. As stated the laptop is more of a throw-in. The $500 transfer fee is a legitimate item. I think a buyer paying $6000 + transfer for a CPO unit, case and 8 courses is doing well. Save $500 and get the same unit and perks.

I am not sure why anyone is concerned with John5's opinion. If he doesn't think its fair, he can move on. The general opinion is it seems to be within reach of a good deal. That is ultimately up to the buyer and seller though. I don't see what the fuss is about.
Good luck with the sale. Hope you and the buyer can come to a happy number!Lay-ups are for basketball!

I agree. You list it for what you want. If it sells it sells if it doesn't it doesn't. He only needs 1 buyer.

@wizardofcoz soupy Exactly. Haha oh well. People get heated by opinions all the time. Why not from a guy who joined the forum this month? Everyone just wants the best deal for their items. If you ask low, you get low offers. Ask high and then take the highest offer.
