I have never heard anything from Trackman about paying for backdated subscriptions. In fact I have had a few Trackmans over the years and occasionally would update expired subscriptions and this was never an issue. https://shop.trackmangolf.com/produc...e-subscription

Yea it is a weird quirk about TM. If you do not have the $1k annual hardware subscription up to date they backdate payments until it is caught up. Otherwise they won’t service it. So all repairs are paid many times over in advance

Yes but you don't have to pay for this subscription. I have now owned TM for six years doing on 7 and have not once paid a hardware subscription. Also, apart from the feet, there are no moving parts etc and so these things are pretty reliable. I would say the one thing that could go on it (just like everything else) is the battery. Again though this is a high quality PRoduct that is very well built and they have excellent customer service (everytime I reach out to them with a question or anything they report back on the same day)..

I have interacted with their customer service once before and they were great. I have no question regarding the build quality. I was simply pointing out that if you sold your TM and hadn't paid for the HW subscription for 6 years the buyer would have to pay 6 years plus 1 for the upcoming year IF they wanted it to be covered by that protection. It is not required, it is simply the process should the new buyer want that protection.

TRACKMAN 4 is SOLD! Sorry to everyone who was expressing interest! The e6 serials are still available. Feel free to PM me about the E6 1.6 with course pack 5! By the way it is ready to go for Trackman already and you can have both for $500. Switching ownership takes about 24 hours with E6. Switching to a different brand simulator can be done but costs $500 through E6 sales department.
