  • For Sale: GC2 and everything else. Full set up

    Hey everyone,

It’s been a lot of fun, but I haven’t gotten to enjoy the sim as much as I wanted, and full disclosure, it made me a worse golfer and resent practice...

anyways, selling my entire set. EVERYTHING MUST GO besides the projector (unless it’s a deal breaker for some one looking for a package)

GC2 - $5,500 SN# 11xxx w/ new super flash plus extra electrode thing. (Original flash comes with it as well)
TGC2019/Original - $750? No clue what this is worth and if it can even be transferred.
Carls Premium Hitting screen 10’x13’- $400. Shows basic usage/ball marks as you would see after 6-8 min s of usage.
CCE stand mat (lol) plus 1’x3’ fiberbuilt hitting mat - $350
birdieball putting 4x9ish’ plus the two artificial turf pieces - $150 plus shipping
    computer tower - $350 Dell gaming PC, i7, nvidia 1060, SSD + 1TB, 16g RAM
Blue Ice snowball microphone and Logitech webcam - $75 for the pair.

I am not factoring in PayPal fees, which I intend to split with the buyer. I am also not factoring in the shipping of these items, which I intend on buyer paying.

if someone out there is on the fence and wants everything, let’s a make deal. I’m willing to part with everything for $6,000 plus shipping and PayPal fees.

please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you for the screen. You had a very nice set up. I would swing in there til my elbows could swing no more. Nice gc2 too.

Wow, really??? Scares me, as you weren't into it that long - I hope it doesn't turn out like that for me when I finally get mine built!

Wizard of Coz - thanks Wiz for the moral support... and the good news on your handicap improvement, as well as a potential training plan once I'm setup. I can see where wedge control would really help, and being able to hit those short wedge's over and over, and over, is something I'm longing to do, especially when I will get solid data accuracy on the exact distance I'm hitting it. Driving accuracy is something of a problem with me as well - my last range work though was showing me that cutting about 20% off of my swing power was giving me much greater accuracy - so hopefully I can continue with that in the Sim. I'm hoping that the Sim will give me an excellent environment to hit range shots over/over and perfect and fine-tune my swing to take my handicap down from a 7 to something like a 2, will have to see how that plays out. I am kinda stuck on using the Sim for short game and putting feedback too, and I think that having a larger space will allow me to setup 10-15' putts in the sim, even if they are not in play.

I'm planning to get to the point where I'm done by the end of this Spring - the end is in sight (or I should say 'the beginning'). Once I can get my shed addition done, I will finally have the room, and I may have the builders also do my flooring work as it's hard as heck motivating to do that, and buying lumber at 3 times the price it was 9 months ago. I also have to insulate the walls/ceiling (and drywall is not my favorite thing), put a window in and install a mini-split.

calebm1001 - thanks for the detailed explanation, and sorry it didn't pan out for you. For sure the kids are a big hindrance and slowdown for me too so I know where you're coming from on that. It's not easy to leave them every night and I have a 3 year old that still takes a long time to get to sleep. Bummer that you felt it never helped your game, and for the Golfzon - where is that at, I guess I'll look it up as I'm not far from you either... There's another spot up in Michigan North/Central called the Big Dome or something like that which I wish was a little closer as I might consider using that for Winter play.

I kinda feel like having the Sim about 5 steps away from the house though will encourage me to spend more time in it as I can hopefully get in an hour here/there and leave it, and go back to it throughout the day... I'll have to see how that pans out, but man, just worried about how the mats never transferred over for you to turf because every lie is perfect, etc. I've always thought that having a mat with 3 cuts in it (fairway, first cut, rough) and being able to hit from those different spots (maybe requiring a Uneekor to do it) would be helpful and I know that I can drop a brush tee into the hitting hole of my ProTee mat and hit with the ball in front of that to make it feel like rough and also make it a little more realistic. I've always wondered though about not having sidehill/uphill/downhill lies and how big that is as you never get to practice them for sure - but I would say that in my past outdoor range work, I rarely practiced those anyway - it just would be nice to know that you hit off a few once/while, and I'm thinking that maybe one day I can buy one of those hydraulic stance mats to give me those lies?

I do know where you're coming from about playing outdoors in real life.... with friends being way better! I guess I'm just looking for a way to have a little bit of a way to get my golf fix during 6 months off-season. Hoping my Sim can do that for me - you know I'll be posting as I finish it up.

Best of luck my friend - maybe I'll see you sometime at Lake Michigan Hills , after COVID
