Hey guys. I got excited and found an open box Eiki EK-308U projector and bought it before I realized that it won't work in my space. The combination of low ceilings and me standing close to my impact screen means that my head casts a shadow. That wouldn't be so bad, except this projector is so bright (6000 lumens) that it is distracting while I hit. For those of you who don't know, this is the same projector Foresight includes in their Sim-In-A-Box kits. It is great for simulators because it is 1920x1200, so if you are running a screen that is more square than 16x9, you get more usable pixels. My setup is 4x3, so I could run 1600x1200 (a normal 1080p projector in 4x3 is 1440x1080). Plus it is ridiculously bright at 6000 lumens, has 1.6x zoom, and vertical and horizontal lens shift. So you can mount it in a pretty big range of locations and still get it to fill your screen. Full specs can be found here.
These are selling for at least $1595 new online, plus you might have to pay sales tax depending on where you buy it from. I'm asking $1200 with Paypal goods and services, or $1150 with Paypal friends and family. It includes the projector, remote, power cable, and HDMI cable that came with it. I have sold lots of Foresight flashes and GC2 enclosures on here, so you can feel comfortable knowing I'm not some new member trying to scam you. If I get my full asking price, I will cover shipping. I don't have the original box, but I will ship it in the box that it came in with plenty of padding so it won't get damaged in transit.
