I've decided to upgrade my golf sim room to a 4K projector so I am selling my Optoma GT1090HDR short-throw laser projector. Excellent projector overall. Purchased new from B&H in June, 2020. Great, working condition, no issues. This projector is $1,400 new. Selling for $1,000 or b/o. Message me if interested.

What 4k Projector did you purchase?

After further research, I decided 4K was not the way to go for my set up. Decided to get the Sony VPL-FHZ75 with a VPLL-3007 lens. Significant investment but should be a solid upgrade overall. The throw ratio of 0.6 fits my set up along with the aspect ratio (16:10) and the 6500 lumens should provide a great experience. I still have the Optoma projector for sale for anyone. This is a great projector but not the one I should have bought in the first place due to aspect and throw ratio. Lesson learned.

The Sony spec matches our need for conversion to 16:10, laser, high lumens and throw ratio. Are you happy with its performance, where did you purchase from?

Very happy with the Sony projector and lens. I found the projector on eBay. The custom lens was ordered online from Full Compass.
