Want to Buy: FR1 green dongle replacement

Long shot (maybe?) but I need a replacement green dongle for my GC2. My 12 year old had a birthday sleepover and the one thing I forgot to stash was the dongle sticking out of the computer. It took a knee and snapped. I have the FR1 software but am interested in anything you've got, even if it has more courses. Thanks.

Any usb stick is basically a small PCB(Printed Circuit board) with a chip and a connector.). The dongle is simply a PCB with an encrypted chip on it that the software looks to see if it is connected.
Just google inside usb pen drive you will see the connector simply soldered to the PCB, if the PCB is snapped, that might be a bit more difficult.

Any engineering student with basic soldering experience could probably fix it, or a local phone repair shop, worth a try.

Did you check with foresight for a replacement dongle? It seems like once upon a time I read something that said they would replace it. Doesn't hurt to make that call.
