I dont think that is the reason at all. I think its more the fact that he bought it for 3,000 and is trying to sell it for 5500.

Market will determine price. I don't think you can ever buy a new one again. I think foresight use to sell HMT new for $6k

Yup the market does determine the prices of things. Therefore, I'm hard pressed to imagine a consumer determining the fair market value of a no longer serviced piece of equipment being 80% of the cost of a brand new unit from foresight that measures both ball data and the three most important clubhead metrics.
