  • For Sale: GC2 with Bluetooth for sale questions

Hi Everybody. This form has been very helpful and I used it when I purchased my GC2 when I lived up in the state of Washington. I have since moved back to California close to family but live on a golf course so I don't use my indoor simulator at all.

I have a GC2 with Bluetooth that I upgraded to the Fsx 2020 software earlier this year. But I'm looking for some feedback on the value of these things.

I'm a level-headed person but I know I spend a lot of dough and didn't really use it very much but that's on me. I appreciate the honest feedback up front and if someone is interested please send me a message and we can talk about specifics.

    Thanks in advance.

I might be interested (depending on price of course ). I'm super new to the sim space as well. Apparently the GC2s are getting REALLY cheap because the GC3 is coming out soon so selling sooner than later might be the difference of at least a couple hundred bucks. Supposedly, you can grab one for as little as 3k or so now, hardware only that is...

I am purchasing a GC2 and have been looking around quite a bit. The range right now seems to be around $3,000 - $7,000, depending on age, condition and what's included. I've seen some with the inclusion of FSX2020 and they are definitely on the higher end but I'd say the average is around $5,000.

First, compare your unit to a GC3, $7K for the latest software and hardware.

Then evaluate your own hardware. Is it a recently refurbished unit? I would consider that a plus. Has the person taken care of it (What't the conditon of the battrey? is it dead because they only plugged it in?) What is the serial number? Is it an A Serial Number.? Higher numbers are better, low serial numbers mean older unit. Does the unit come with an unused flash? Has the unit ever been serviced?

I also look at recent sales on ebay. How are you going to advertise your unit matters as well as if you have lots of feedback. The more information you furnish, the better which may net you a bigger sale price. I've questioned multiple sellers asking for a serial number and have not received a response back which kinda tells me to stay away.

I had a chance to buy a refurbished unit two months ago (Unit was purchased 1/21 that was part of a GC Quad promotion). It was later sold on ebay for $3900 which is a net $3400 of buyer after ebay fees. It was listed above $4k with a best offer. I didn't buy since I was waiting to see what happens with the new offerings. I'm only interested in sim play which is why I'm still considering the GC2. If that opportuity arose again, I would buy.

Lots of scam adds on ebay now. I don't know why people would buy sub $1K GC2's from sellers with a day old ebay account.
