I have a Flightscope Xi+ TaylorMade TP which is the same as Xi Tour. Xi Tour gives all 27 club and ball parameters just like the X2, but without built in camera. It comes with carrying case and iPad Mini with pre-installed VX2 and Xi+ apps. Looking to get 4700 or OBO. I am in LA area and prefer to do local sale, but will ship as well. I'm not too sure about the compatibility with E6, but my TMAG version shows all parameters and I purchased this from a current TMAG sales rep directly. Some TMAG versions are not the Tour models and only Xi+. Flightscope currently sells pre owned TMAG version for 7500.Comment

Does everything function perfectly? Also do you know if this model is available to be upgrade to the newest firmware allowing for easier indoor use by bringing the required distance down to 16ft. Lastly if you don't mind me asking. Why are you selling it?Comment

The reason I am selling it is because I bought this for my 13 year old daughter who competes pretty competitively and goes to an instructor that uses TrackMan 4. I thought it would greatly benefit us in between the lessons to keep her club path, spin axis, swing plane and AofA in control as well as driver spin with in app optimizer function. Also since it's an El Nino year, we didn't wanna miss too much of practice time and with this, you can do it at home. It surely helped a lot, but ever since we started using it, I get so frustrated her numbers are not where she is supposed to be and end up yelling at her and making our relationship worse. It is totally my fault and take all the blame for it and started not using it as much. Samething happened last night when I took it to the driving range and I got really nasty on her wanted to kill myself for it.

I was reviewing her numbers from last night session just now and was seeing some numbers that confused me. A number that should've been a draw spin but a with a R spin axis. I know she was hitting really close to the heel last night, but is that result of a gear effect?Comment

It does seem like an unnecessary cash grab, especially for a unit that sits behind the player and isn't in the potential shank zone....However, in an indoor setting if for some reason a ball came rocketing back off of a pole/support, it'd be a bad day if you didn't have the warranty. -

Yes, I was offered a warranty from a Flightscope rep. If it was $300, I would have taken it, but not for $1000. I do not need a backup unit while it's repaired and if I do need a repair, I can pay for it in cash. At the rate I'm using it, it has to break within my first 20 sessions to make sense. Yes, it sits behind the ball, so there wouldn't be any damage from a golf ball. It looks like it is brand new.
I thought tech support might be helpful, but it was much easier than I thought to operate and with help from guys here like Goatbarn, I figured tech support will not be necessary. -
drewtaylor21 thanks for the info. I've have a pretty lengthy exchange of emails between with couple of flightscope reps discussing the indoor accuracy and performance. Pretty much they told me that currently my 19x19 room isn't really big enough for accurate results, however they said once the new software is released that it should be good. I thought that was really weird being that I see them market that you only need 18 feet, and even in some cases I've seen it on their website that you only need 15ft and that was from about 6 months ago. So I'm pretty hesitant about the indoor accuracy. The warranty is also obviously a little bit of concern because of the possibility of ricochet being that I would use it indoors quite a bit. I think the rep want to set up a demo for me, I'm hoping they'll do it in a small confined space to replicate mine.

CaddyDaddy that's interesting to me that a FS rep offered a warranty. My guess is that they would do that in any case, as it's an extra $1k for them, but they PREFER to sell a new unit, so they tell potential private buyers like me that the TP model is blacklisted for resale as a scare tactic.
jerry3 As we've learned from Skytrak, in this industry, words don't mean much. Show me it works or I'm not buying. I'm waiting until the reduced indoor footprint is released and tested before I purchase. I know they set up demo's, but I'm not sure if they come to your place or what. That would be ideal, as I could see actual results my own space before buying. If the new footprint works as well as the rep I spoke with said it does, space should be no issue.

In respect of the 19 by 19 comment above not being enough, you have to remember that you lose one foot for the screen at least and another six inches for the unit and so you only have 17'6" between the unit and the screen. Hitting the ball at 9 feet from the unit only leaves 8'6" for the ball to the screen which is likely not enough for a low spinning moderately fast drive. It will be interesting to see what the decreased foot print results are like.Comment
