  • WTB: Foresight Sports GC2

    Hey all,

I am looking to buy a GC2 simulator/launch monitor. I would love to have the software already installed. Courses are not a must but it would be nice. I am looking for the Apple compatible model.

    Thank you!

What are you looking to spend? I believe the FSX software is through the cloud, so it wouldn't come with the GC2 in tangible form. The FR1 software (before the FSX release) used a security dongle, but required Foresight to transfer to a new user. TGC is compatible with the GC2 with tons of great courses.. just doesn't have the performance fitting functionality. Since you're trying to get the apple compatible one, you can get the $50 ipad app - works great!

Maybe I have not done enough research but I am mostly looking to use the driving range with the performance fitting (and see stats on my iPad which is why I am looking for the apple compatible version) but I thought it would be fun to have a course or two to play in the winter. I thought the courses were loaded on to the machine but it seems like that is not the case! I am hoping to spend in the 3.5-4k range. I have not seen many sell for that price range but I have seen a few.

Yeah, I don't think you'll be able to get a GC2 unit w/ simulation software for that much. Software alone runs from $1,000 - 2,500 (new), but it sounds like all you need is the GC2 w/ bluetooth (which is that "A" version). Then, spend the $50 on the ipad app.

            Good luck!
