Xi won't connect to droid tablet, help!

I am having a hard time getting my xi unit connected to my android tablet. It connects to my iPad just fine but for some reason it will not connect to my android, does anybody have any tips for getting an android tablet connected to an xi unit? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Flightsope say they can not guarantee all android tablet function with xi, maybe this is the problem. Try another android tablet

The probalem with Android tablets is the massive fragmentation in both hardware and software. I would take a stab in the dark that you need a pretty good android table like a Samsung Tab pro or something along those lines. Did google make a nexus tablet?

I used to use a Samsung Tab 4 with zero issues.

I don't consider the non-top brand name tablets: android tablets. Since any crappy vendor can supply minimum specs, and load it with android and now it's an android tablet.

Stick with samsung for android devices and you'll be all set.

That said, maybe your android app is out of date?

It may not like the Nvidia sheild because of the processor or GPU used, or any other host or reasons. The Shield K1 had some wi-fi issues when on marshmallow that I believe they resolved buy may still be causing an issue with connection to the flightscope.

Looks like Samsung is the way to go. Thoughts on either of the following:
                galaxy tab pro 10.1 refurb
                galaxy Tab 4 new

Flightscope apps are not very taxing on the system. Like I said I had a Samsung Tab 4, bought used, for something like $150. I bet they're even cheaper now.
              Working...
