Connecting a tablet to projector

I am trying to connect my non mhl supported Samsung tablet (means i cant hardwire it )to a projector (HDMI and many other ports available if needed) to project the Flightscope apps from my Xi Tour.
A couple of guys on another site suggested a Chromecast but I don't think I can use anything that runs on WiFi as I need it to connect the tablet to the xi tour.
Any suggestions?
