Hi All,
I've just picked up a Flightscope Xi+ and have a couple of questions for any Xi owners out there...
Firstly the unit needed the battery replaced which I knew about and so I spoke with FS support who advised to try and clean the contacts on the battery pack and this is when I discovered that the two screws holding the battery in are not the correct ones....so would anyone be able to check their unit and advise the correct size I need to get please?
I did ask MIA technology the UK distributor if they could supply two replacement screws when I ordered the new battery but they weren't able to.
When the new battery arrived I swapped it out with the old one and charged it over night as advised then went to use the unit only for the battery show as 40% full rather than the 100% I was expecting, I asked MIA is this was an old new battery they'd had sitting on a shelf for some time but they advised it wasn't and set up a support call who flashed my unit OS and said to run the battery down and recharge which I did but the results were still the same. I'm waiting for support to get back to my for another remote session but wanted to ask if anyone else had come across this issue before when replacing a battery?
Cheers
