  • Dual Mevo+ Units? - short indoor vs indoor vs long indoor testing

not sure if this is possible given the alignment of the different devices, but I'd like to request folks from the forum come together with their Mevo+ units to do a comparison of the different indoor modes. It would be fascinating to document how much more accurate the indoor mode is compared to short indoor.

Many of us have space limitations dictating the use of short indoor mode, but there are others of us who would redesign our spaces if it meant having more accurate results.

I will be placing my order after tax season, willing to test if there is anyone else interested who resides in the Ohio area.

I suspect that provided the units operate in a different frequency this should be possible.

Indoor mode will require considerably more ball flight than 8 feet or you won't get any readings at all. That mode is when you are hitting in a cage environment with less than 40 yards of flight. Long indoor mode is for more than 40 yards but but when the ball flight suddenly stops when hitting a wall or net. .

Short indoor mode can and does work under 8 feet. Normal indoor mode needs much more than 8 feet. There are 4 modes; short indoor, indoor, long indoor, and outdoor.

indoor mode is 13 feet from impact position to screen. I wouldn't call that "considerably more ball flight" than short indoor mode. it would fit in my garage if I turned my sim 90 degrees

It is >60% longer distance which means 60% more data points and it requires a considerable larger room. I would say the difference is huge.
