    Radar Units Life Span

Was thinking of getting a Skytrak up to recently but after reading about hardware failures and lack of updates recently im liking the sound of the Mevo+.
What are the typical lifespans of these sorts of units vs the camera based systems? Any parts that are susceptible to wearing out?

Here is a quote from TrackMan:

“A modern radar system contains no mechanical parts or lenses with critical alignments or flashes that need replacements, which results in a much longer life expectancy than other technologies.”

This was written a few years ago and suspect that the quality of camera based tech has improved a lot over the years as well.

I believe the CEO of Flightscope briefly addresses this during the interview here https://youtu.be/EGofMxYGy2s
