  • My workshop

A couple of years ago I had to sell my Xi+ due to change of venue and reduced space. I had to buy a Skytrak with the downsides that added to club fitting.

When FS introduced the Mevo+ it opened up the possibility to facilitate fitting and also sim play for my family and neighbour, that helped me build the golf house. I had to change some stuff to get room hence the trash outside the house.

I thought my setup might inspire people that you can actually get a nice sim and shop setup in a very limited space.

Note the dolly for the Mevo and of course the huge quadcopter above the door.

This year we got an early spring here (hence very little snow on the pic) in the north of Sweden and since most people wants to play golf during our short season most fitting is actually done in the autumn and winter.

You have a lot going on in there. Like the setup.

How big is the shed? What are the distance from Mevo to ball and ball to screen?

      3,4m * 5,4m floor space
      7ft lm to ball
      9ft ball to wall

Looks good! I have 12 feet by 18 ft of floor space to work with, so pretty close. I was thinking of adding a table/workbench behind my hitting area as well, but didnt know if there would be enough space, looks like it might work fine by your photos. Also like what appears to be fishing rod clips holding golf clubs on the walls..

Let me ask, if you get say 2-3 people playing in there, where do the other players usually hang out while one is hitting?

The clips clips and the movable dolly is my own design and 3d printed.

Max 2 players, the one not hitting stands//sits by the door. My tee is slightly off centres on the floor, to the left.

tbh skip the bench above the Mevo and just have two islands as work area. I will cut about 30 cm from the bench above the LM so I have some extra room for driver. This will add to ball flight and I imagine improve reliability.

Good advice thanks... I'm lucky enough to have 12 feet of width for floor space, but no wall at all behind the right handed hitters, so a bit more effective swinging space to allow right handed hitters to hit centered... if I ever have a lefty play, will need to slide my mat over a foot or so and play off center... I only expect that 5% of the time.

With 18 foot length from back of bay to screen, I may be able to get a 20 inch deep tool cart/bench along the back wall for all my trinkets and club building stuff, place the Mevo on the floor in front of it, and still have 7-8 feet Mevo to ball and 8-9 feet ball to screen. I could also forgo the cart all together and have 8 feet Mevo to ball and 10 feet ball to screen. I had good success with 9 feet ball to screen when testing so I'm planning for 9 feet of ball flight if I can.. once I get the screen installed I'll have better idea of exact amount of space I will have..

Your pics gave some good ideas though, appreciated.
