Mevo Plus on iPad?

I'm waiting for my Mevo Plus and wondering about hardware to run the E6 Connect software that is included. Can I purchase a regular iPad or do I need a iPad Air, or iPad Pro? Thanks for your help.

I think its the version of IOS rather than the device, found this on the flightscope chat forum

iPad 5th generation runs iOS 12, but will it run E6 Connect smoothly?

Good question - my Mevo + is also on order so unsure to be honest

It runs mostly smoothly but has moments of choppiness. If i had dedicated indoor space I’d buy a gaming laptop. For playing some holes outside, a regular iPad is fine with E6.

Thanks for the comments trumb1mj. I don't think the five courses that are included with the Mevo+ have support for PC or Android. Is that true? if I get the full version of E6 I will get a good gaming laptop.

That’s correct. The E6 that comes with the M+ is only for iOS and android. You have to purchase the PC version. You can download a free demo version for pc that gives you one course and a bunch of driving ranges.

Thanks for the info. Who has the inside scoop on when (if ever) the included E6 software will be available on Android?

I have a 6th gen iPad that works fine with FS Skills, FS Golf, and E6C.
I have updated the E6C software to the $300 dollar package, received 27 courses and access to IOS and PC.

That also runs fine on the 6th Gen . I have not tried the PC version yet, I will be setting up shortly.
