Flightscope xi+ Only works for one shot. Have to turn off and on to read another

I have a flightscope xi+ (taylormade unit) that I use indoors into a net. It worked great for a while. But recently, it only reads a single shot. After the first shot, it says ready, but it won't read any more shots. I have to turn it off and back on and reset the app to get another read.

Once in a while it will read a second shot after i make it sleep and wake up, but not always.

Has anyone had a similar experience? What can I do to fix it?

I should add that in the past I had issues with the battery. It would charge at times, other times I had to unscrew the battery and pull it out and screw it back in, then it charged fine. But I'm not sure if it's related.

I'm tempted to get the service plan, but I only use it a couple time a week in the winter, so I'm on the fence.

which app? And you don't need a service plan to contact FS for advice and help. Only if you want them to actually work on the unit.

Run WiFi analyser on your phone with the Flightscope on .this will show you what wifi channel it is on and the competing signals .If there is a strong enough competing signal it will confuse the Flightscopes wifi. This is what was wrong with mine .
If you have registered the unit with FS just get them to change the channel it runs on remotely.
If you haven't.... hopefully it's your home or friendly neighbours WiFi and you can get the provider to change the channel it operates on.
There was another thread somewhere where a guy has mentioned that he somehow boosted the FS WiFi signal with some kind of repeater .
