  • Mevo Plus Baseball

Does the Mevo Plus support baseball? Or any plans to support it in future? I am thinking for an indoor application where you can hit balls off of a tee or pitch. Maybe make the golf simulator area a dual purpose setup?

It is not completely clear online as the device seems to have the capability. (Without having to spend the money to go to the Xi; which I am also not sure on the indoor capability)

I was wondering the same thing. The original Mevo did support baseball, but the baseball app is no longer available on the app store, so I doubt it would be supported.

I coach baseball and my sim setup in the garage is hybrid batting cage/simulator. I use pocket radar for baseball which is great for pitching/exit velocities, but would be cool to know launch angle and direction off a tee as well to help kids working on their swings.

Thanks!! I was looking for someone who had done this. Do you have a picture of your setup? The golf part is easy, but trying to figure out how to reuse the spot where I hit golf balls to also setup a tee and hit balls or use it as a flat mound would be great. With both golf balls and baseballs Hit/thrown into the impact screen and net.

    Here is my setup -

My cage is not that big due to size of garage. 20 x 12. But its large enough to for two side by side off a tee into the side of the net or to do front toss behind an L screen. I also work with pitchers and I can do side by side throwing into impact screen. Its not very high - only 8.5 feet because of garage doors

I needed it to retract against wall for storage so we can park cars, etc. I plan on using floor mount projector for Mevo+ simulator.

The sides and top is a single piece of netting. The ends are a separate piece. I pull out the net from the wall and lock into place on other end with bungees.

When hitting golf balls, I pull out the netting about 5 feet to have side nets, but not all the way because of restricted height. The back end of the net is not attached to rest so this is easy to do.

These pictures are older, so I have fixed my impact screen to get out the wrinkles.

Next thing on my list is to order turf for the whole floor.

Very cool. Thanks for the reply. I like the retractable concept as a means to do this. Thank you for sharing!
