I think I solved this...by connecting my iPad online first (as if I was going to play the online version), starting game play and then switching the WiFi connection to the Flightscope unit. Counter intuitive, playing online to play offline. Weird bug, but it's reproducible. Have done it a couple times with success.

Anyone found a solution for disconnects with TGC 2019?

        I wish..Infuriating!!

I’ve done a few troubleshooting sessions with ProTee and Flightscope support — tried many fixes and it’s still happening. Seems I can get 4-5 holes in and then the red light on my Mevo+ will switch off and stop registering shots. The FS App works perfectly. TGC2019 is my issue.

Kimbo Slice - have you completely disabled your firewall? Not that I would recommend it, but I've noticed ProTee seems to call for that quite often and wonder if any blocked ports may be causing your issue?

I received my Mevo+ in late Dec 2020 and did not get a chance to try it out until Jan 2021.

I seem to be having some issues with it staying connected as well and then more issues trying to reconnect.

When it does disconnect, from what I notice is it does so after a few shots. If it hasn't disconnected after roughly 5 shots its usually good until I am done.

While trying to reconnect. I get "Someone is already connected" or the QR code scanner will not read the QR Code to reconnect. The only solution I have found is to reboot both devices. If I have enough time I will but most times I'm sneaking in a 15 minute session.

I still can't get my E6 Connect to recognize that my Mevo+ is connected to my WiFi. I've just tried your trick and had no luck. I will try again later when I have a few extra minutes and report back.

I had to sign in to the online version as well, prior to connecting to the FS.

I think i have solved the disconnect issue from E6. I suspected it is was a wifi strength issue of the unit. I have installed a usb wifi adapter with a small antenna on my pc and havent gotten disconnected since. Not sure that helps an IOS player. It also allows you to use the wifi card that was built into your computer to run E6 without having to use an ethernet cable. Connect Mevo plus to the wifi adapter after setup and your pc to its built in wifi. Connect your mevo plus to your pc first and then launch E6. I purchased the wifi adapter on amazon for 20$

So it’s been 9 months since I started this thread and FS has not fixed the issue. I finally got a chance to try out firmware update 0.17. Being inside all I could do was test putting. I set everything up and made perhaps 3 or 4 putts and up pops the disconnect message. So I turn of the mevo+ and restart it, restart E-6 and start again. About 5 shots later same disconnect message, rinse and repeat and this time it lasts for about 10 to 15 minutes before disconnecting. I can’t comment to much on the putting results as I really could not test things out very much. I will say that not much seems different, accuracy no better or no worse and still not able to pick up short putts. I don’t bother using it at the range because the yardages are not consistent. Calling FS support yields no positive results, all they do is tell me to send feedback and I never hear anything about the results. I feel like I am being used to test something for free (actually I paid them for)that should have been figured out a long time ago. Quite frankly I am disgusted with the whole thing and I wish I never bought it.

I have new mevoplus with Ipad 6. unit stays connected for only short periods of time or not at all with E6 connect. Has anyone actually received any fixes from Flightscope?

                Hi all

I have just started up Mevo+ in my sim, got a similar issue, running E6 on PC, the mevo connection was cutting in and out constantly. Switched to 2.4MHz from 5mHz and it has been solid ever since.

Thanks for posting this ttz, I will have to give it a try next time I can use my unit.

I had a similar problem on an Xi unit so I ran a WiFi channel scan and found my home WiFi was using the same channel. Once I got my WiFi and Flightscope on different channels the disconnects stopped occurring.

I used the AirPort Utility to do this. Might help your situation....might not.

I have that disconnection issues for more than 2 years now, my experience is the following:
                      - iPad or iPhone wifi or Wi-Fi + Cellular whatever the generation have the issue. I started with a wifi iPad Air and after several upgrades I have a m1 app,e iPad Pro and it doesn’t change anything.
                      - I use a PC with both an ethernet and a wifi card with an external antenna and it works better (not perfect).
conclusion I think that the usb wifi adapter in the mevo+ is just not good enough. In an ideal word we could have opened it to replace it with a newer more reliable with modern wifi adapters and with a better internal antenna.

I'm having this problem more and more with my ethernet connected pc with wifi card while playing e6. Would love to know if there is a definitive way to fix this.

I'm also having issues with Mevo+ with an iPad to a projector. This is especially true when I'm connecting to the M6EVO+ to the flightscope radar. I was using a basic USB hub to connect the projector via HDMI to the hub and onward to the iPad via a type c connector.Anyone have any ideas how to resolve this? I tried talking to E6, but they shut me down stating this is a 3rd party issue.

Update: after rebooting my iPad all issues have been resolved. The only minor quirk was the time it took the hompow projector to connect to the iPad. Right now from the iPAD I just logon to e6, change over to the flighscope mevo+ for the wifi, and using a inexpensive usb hub with hdmi port that connects to the ipad on its type c port.
