    Elevation Setting for Mevo Apps...

    I think an important part of playing with a simulator is having accurate club distances, and so elevation becomes a significant factor. I mainly play at ~3,500 feet so the distances are much different than at sea level.

    Although I’m note clear on how elevation can be set for a couple of the apps?
    • FS SkillsConfigurable. Go to: Device Settings->Height Above Sea Level
    • FS GolfNot Configurable - LOCKED? If you go to: Settings (gear)->Weather Conditions, it show as LOCKED, for Short Indoor mode with the comment “Standard Sea Level Conditions are used in Indoor and Short Indoor Modes”. Why would this be restricted?
    • E6 ConnectNot Configurable - LOCKED? If you go to: Settings->Environment-Elevation. The elevation is disabled and not configurable, and states “Course Elevation”. If you go to the driving range, and select a range, it states its at “Course Elevation”, but for the range selection there is not even an elevation number stated? Also it would be nice to use the range with your “local course” elevations.
    • Awesome Golf - Configurable. Go to: Settings->Sensor Settings->Altitude
    • TGC 2019 - Configurable. Go to: TGC Flightscope Interface->Settings->Altitude Above Sea Level

    For FS Golf, environmental conditions are only configurable in outdoor mode, and the app will pull in weather and altitude information based on your location if connected to the internet. I saw in a recent webinar however, FS is adding this feature to short indoor mode as well in an upcoming app update.

      I just received a response from E6 support: "I believe that Flightscope uses their own algorithm for these settings that are not compatible with our software. If this is the cause I don’t believe that it will be able to be implemented."

      Surprising, as it would seem to just be a configuration setting like other Mevo+ software packages. Seems like a big gap, as most people using the range would want realistic yardages...
