FS X2 w e6 shot distance 40yds short on drives

I need to know if the e6 software displays the same Flightscope readings that the Flightscope software displays.

The Flightscope X2 works absolutely perfect..... can't find a problem with it and, after e6 pointed fingers, I had flightscope support remotely connect to look over my settings. They found nothing wrong with my settings and did their best to troubleshoot the e6 software....... no answer why.....

I'm usually 240yds to 255yds with the Flightscope X2 software and this is very accurate to my actual shots outdoors. I started the e6 demo and noticed my drives never go past 210yds if I cream it, most are 180-195yds and I really have to let out the shaft to reach over 200yds.

I really want to buy e6 but I can't justify spending that much money for something that doesn't work properly, not even close, with my launch monitor.

-The e6 demo software recognizes my X2 as an Xi and nothing happens when I select X2 and click the detect button and the calibration buttons to the right are grayed out.

-Is e6 supposed to recognize my X2 as an X2? Demo vs full version?
-Does anyone have the e6 game working accurately with a Flightscope X2?

e6 hasn't been very much help and shows no interest in selling me the software.....

Quick answer is yes. Everyone will say it’s wind or elevation or whatever.....but yes E6 understates the Driver in my experience.

I have the same issue. Drives are 250 yards on FS app and right around 210 yards on E6. Strange. Would think Mevo+ numbers would be Mevo+ numbers regardless of sim software

yes in my experience as well. i had the Xi tour and upgraded to the X3 and on both my drives are shorter than on the FS apps and in real life. i get very similar numbers to you, average on around 240 yards and on e6 a good 30 yards shorter. irons were much closer though, within 5 yards.

strangely enough, i probably average about 10 yards longer on tgc2019 than in real life, but i think that's more to do with longer roll out on the sim

I wonder if another sim works with the X2

I have the same issue with e6 and flightscope xi tour. A good 30 yards short with the driver compared to flightscope software.

I just purchased TGC 2019 and it works nicely with my X2.... the drives are still somewhat short but at least long enough to play e.g. over 200yds....

TGC has a Flightscope interface that checks my unit for firmware updates and says a version 2.01 <ver number may be a little off because my memory isn't so good< but the firmware version I have now is 1.9 or something so I need to check into that.... otherwise TGC is pretty nice for the $$$. GungHoGolf helped me out....

            did you buy e6 anyway

do some courses in e6 have adjustments to help them go longer?

I'd buy them both if the were more accurate.... TBD and I will update this thread with results for others....

I had the flightscope xi + and saw a special for 3000 to upgrade to the xi tour plus 96 e6 connect courses for a year. There isn’t any altitude adjustment or any thing that can been done with short driver reads. It’s a bummer. All the other clubs read fine. Short chips, forget about it. Gotta hammer it past the hole for it to read. Graphics are outstanding imo though. I would like to try tgc?? E6 connect has several tee box choices to answer your question

TGC has a boost option where you can set a distance increase for your clubs. Check your settings file. You should see 2 TGC icons on your desktop. One is the icon you click to play the game. The other is a settings file. I believe the boost option is in the settings one.

I’ve tried 8,9 and 10 feet for xi placement and none make a difference for me on chipping

for the X3, putting and chipping on the FS apps recommend 5ft, try it. could be same for mevo. for tgc2019, all my putts and chips read from 5ft

My tee is 15ft from screen and FS X2 is 11ft behind my tee. I lob chips at the screen and they drop down about a foot or two from the bottom. This gives me a 15ft +/- shot that I can usually get into the 10ft gimme range and works good enough because my putting is not as important as just being able to play.... Only the newest X3 model copes with putting and a trade in/upgrade for 8.5k is pricey to have putting availability. For me I will wait until technology makes the X3 less expensive.

3on3putt thank you so much, I'm only 15yards short on my drives now between switching to TGC 2019 and using the settings:

                      Driver Boost=ON
                      Wood Boost=ON

TGC 2019 is way better for shot distance accuracy, I wish e6 would sort this out, I'd certainly buy it as well.

What is your ball speed with driver? I have a Mevo Plus and the drives are short from real distance with driver in the e6 software. However, the fs golf software shows pretty much same distance (245-250 m carry). Outdoor the drives go 260 meters total (around 250 carry) with no wind and no elevation. My ball speed is around 163-165 with driver.
