Hi, When recording video of swings - using my iphone. Am i still able to use the iPad to view my swing data? and possibly watch the video of the swing too??

Sounds great - but i suspect you can only link one device at time?

iPhones and iPads will not sync up. What you have on your iPhone or iPad stays there. You can still use the app on multiple devices. The information will all show up at myflightscope.com but the videos won’t. I am not sure if there are future plans to have the app sync across devices.

So i could use my iphone to record and have the ipad logged into myflightscope.com to check the data? Do the shots upload instantly?

After you close the session on your iPhone it uploads. Not sure how long it takes.

Thanks - i am looking into mirroring the screen from my phone to my ipad - so i would be able to see the stats as i hit the balls/also a replay if there is an automatic replay shown like on Rapsodo.

I think an issue will be controlling the app - the controls will be on the iphone - which will be on the alignment stick behind me.

I have just started using video recording myself so I am not sure if there is an automatic play back feature. Sounds like a good idea for FS to add if the is not. My iPad faces me and is connected to a tv for easier viewing and control of the app.

+1 for the Tv because of the constraints of glasses to read an iPhone !

Slightly different question but does putting work as expected with this setup? Flightscope recommend minimum 45cm width for putting strip and this looks much smaller but this layout would suit my hitting area much better. Thanks in advance

Yes the putting does seem to work well this way. The board is about 6” wide or in your case 15 cm.

Looks good - thanks for the help - i might look into a screen too - although it rains a lot here.

I have used the Video recording within FSGolf


1. I set my IPAD on a tripod directly behind me and the ball flight. You can set the FSgolf Video to record from 3 secs prior to club contact to 1 second. Flightscope recommend 2secs.
2. When a little green marker shows next to the date and time after you have reviewed the data and closed . The data and video has been uploaded to myflightscope.
3. With no subscription you can upload 3 videos to myflightscope. These can only be viewed in the video section.
4. If yo take out the $25 subscription, the video is then linked to the shot data in myflightscope and you can upload 25 videos a month. Max number of uploads is 25.
5. Videos can be viewed from the Video section or the FS Golf data
6. Make sure you have the same email address for myflightscope and FSGolf.
7. These videos can be shared with email facebook etc, and myflightscope.

I never found the videos in my FlightScope only the datas despite the green cloud icon in FSGolf 😞

Kinovea with a camera on a tripod works great for recording / watching swings immediately. Kinovea itself is free and works well even on some older laptops.

Just got a message from my reseller - we are now waiting my tracking information from Flightscope..... fingers crossed.
