Mevo + Initial Thoughts

Okay so yesterday i received the unit from Rain or Shine and the packaging was in great shape. The Unboxing and Getting the apps setup and synced was very easy. The battery came about 3/4 charged but i charged it for like another 15-20 to get the full charge. I connected the Mevo + to the Wifi on my phone and started adjust the settings in FSGolf and FS Skills apps. Today I took the unit to the local driving range. I had it turned on and set up 8ft 6in from the unit to the ball with very little roll and at the recommended 18* in only about 2-5 minutes. Now i am just getting back into golf after 10 years so i am very rusty and inconsistent but i can tell you that it picked on all of the shape shots and mishits. From 55 yards Carry on my worst to 238 yards carry on my great hits with the driver. I really only had time to hit 9 balls with my driver and 9 balls with my 7 iron. I sent the data to my Golf Coach and he is super excited for my next lesson. As of now i have just used FSGolf with the about 18 Shots. So far i love it. I know once i get the garage sim space all complete i know it will change in the consistency of the numbers.

So my 9 year old daughter had a gapping/Distance session with her golf instructor/coach on Saturday. These pictures below are the stats for her driver, cluster groupings of all her clubs and the trajectory of her driver shots. She had a tournament yesterday and I was able to use these stats for every club and shot to determine how far she could carry every shot and what her average total distance and I can say it was spot on. There was a water hazard/creek that ran directly through the fairway and so I was able to get into the FSGOLF App quickly (without slowing down the pace of play) to get her carry a total distances averages for her 3 wood and sure enough she crushed the shot over the water hazard and rolled onto the front of the green just as her averages showed in the app. She told me when we were driving home she felt more confident in hitting shots knowing she has the numbers to back up our shot/club selection. I can say using this outside so far it has been nothing short of perfection. I hope to have our garage facility done with in the next two weeks. I will give an update on the short indoor mode the .
