Mevo+ distances

Is distance to the screen or distance to the ball more critical? With the design I’m working on I have 10ft to screen and 8.3 to ball.

8 feet mevo to ball... and use as much space as you have left in front. I have 7 feet 8 inches mevo to ball, and 9' 6" or so in front. Works well for me for both full swings and putting..
