Hi everyone! I have noticed that the distances on my level plus are noticeably short. I’ve had a Golf Simulator for over five years and been swinging in that room for a long time now so it’s not indoor swing syndrome. I am wondering though, if the downward slope of my garage floor towards the garage door where my Mevo plus sits could cause some of the shorter distances. For example, the Mevo could be aiming higher than it should normally be aiming due to the slope so my vertical launch angle is a bit lower than it really is. I have adjusted for 2 inches of difference for my hitting mat already. Thanks in advance!

Would garage floor slope affect distance?

Are you noticing shorter distances on all of your clubs or just driver? I have a pretty severe slope in my garage but it sounds like my set up is the opposite of yours (my garage slopes down, away from the unit / mat). Are you able to flip around the set up to test if it has any impact hitting the other way?
FWIW I find that all my distances, excluding driver which is a bit low, are pretty much spot on. Again probably not that helpful to you since my slope is going the other way.

I'm setup in garage with screen opposite garage doors. I do have a slope towards garage doors. I don't have a Mevo + but a Uneekor. I built a hitting platform that sits level which I have found works well with getting consistent laugh angle and distance readings.

Did you figure out whether this was causing distance issues?Originally posted by StodgyBarley View PostThanks guys! It's clubs 7 iron through driver... lower launch angle clubs. 8 iron and up seem pretty good which made me curious. I'm going to try to get it level in the near future to see what that does. Appreciate it!
