I am looking at getting Mevo+ if you look at the pics. yellow sticks horizontal is right at 8 feet to the screen which is the min you can do from what I have read. The bigger question is distance back. I have a blue block set up right at 8 ft from the ball line and have the space but my room narrows after the swing zone.
To left I have a shelf which is off to the side but would be 2 feet in front and on the right of the unit I have a freezer. Would this cause a problem with reading or does it not matter as these objects do not move just the ball?

In short the answer is maybe. Unfortunately it seems that with all of the variable there in no hard and fast way of telling. From a quick look from my prospective the freezer could be an issue, most when the freezer is running because it has a fan in it but if it’s not visible to the mevo+ it could be a non issue. The mevo+ radar goes out in the shape of a cone but I don’t know the angle of it and if the cone spreads out wide enough close enough to pick up the freezer. If I were you I would call FS support and discuss the set up with them. They have been very helpful for a lot of people.

I think you will be fine. The bigger concern would be what happens if you mis-hit a bit right. Looks like you are pretty offset with your setup and not much shank protection. I too have an offset hitting space, but not as close as your setup appears to be. I've had no issues with the Mevo+ being 7ft from the ball. In fact, I think in E6 the putting and chipping work much better at 5 or 6 feet from the Mevo+, so I would not worry about it. I have 24 total feet to work with and I've tried all sorts of configurations. I've settled on 10 ft of ball flight and 7ft from Mevo to ball. That for me seems to produce the best results without missing any shots and it even reads the short puts and chips if I cheat back to the Mevo by a foot or two ( Meaning 5 - 6 feet from Mevo to ball ).
