    Hotspot connections

Does anyone know how to get E6 working with mevo+ and a hot spot connection (no home wifi available)? I can get FS apps to work fine on both my Android phone and wifi only iPad. The problem I am encountering is the iPad will says there is no internet connection and no monitor. I cannot even manually get E6 to find mevo+. What is odd, is that I was able to download the other 4 courses in E6, so I am not sure why it tells me there is no internet connection.

There must be a way to get this all to work, any ideas?

On my Samsung, under mobile hotspot and tethering, turn on Bluetooth tethering.. then connect your iPad to your phone over Bluetooth and iPad will share your cell data over the Bluetooth. After connected, see if you can access internet on the iPad. If so, then connect to the Mevo using iPad wifi.

This way you share cell data over Bluetooth and wifi can connect to the Mevo+

I've had better luck making the Bluetooth tether connection and verifying I can get internet access before turning on my WiFi to connect to the Mevo. If I connect to Mevo first, sometimes my Bluetooth tether won't transfer data for some reason.

tonybrown32 , thanks got it to work, my blue tooth was being finicky. Though my hot spot did not stay connected and there were no issues. I could not get putting to register at all and chipping inside 40 yds was misread about half the time...so nothing new from what I have read.

Cool. Yeah, my bluetooth craps out every now and again, and have play with it occasionally to get it working again... Yeah, putting and chipping are common complaints for many. In my case, my putting worked pretty well actually... but chipping not as much. My unit didn't read any chips under about 40 feet.. made it hard playing sim golf when I was short sided and needed a 10-15 foot little chip... I'd end up having to chip 40-50 feet and end up rolling off the other side of the green lol..

Irons and hybrids seem spot on, as do wedges over say 30 yards... it's improved my game this summer learning my carry numbers in particular for half and three quarter type swings.
    Working...
