    Issues with XiTour

New to the forum, but I have read it before. Lots of helpful people here. I hope you can help me.

I'm having an issue with my Xi Tour and I'm hoping someone can help me. Just so it's clear, I have Flightscope support and I opened a case with them in April. They needed to talk with their devs and get back to me. They never did. I let it go over the summer, but now I've reopened the case again three weeks ago. Same deal, need to talk to the devs. They did't get back to me again. I could say more, but I'm not looking to bash anyone. I just wanted you to know I have talked to Flightscope support and will continue to work with them. But I'm losing faith and hoping maybe someone else has seen this.

Anyhow, here's my issue. When using my XiTour with the Flighscope PC software it will not correctly level. It pops up an error box with something like "Cannot level the sensor. Be sure it is between -2 and +2 degrees". This is not a hardware error because it levels just fine with Android or iPad. Digging around on the file system I have found log files. In one there is a message with sometime like "Auto Level Angle: 0.1". And in old log files, when it was working, says "Auto Level Angle: 10.0". My deduction from this is that the PC software is trying to level to .1 degrees, rather than 10. I've re-installed the software. No change. I've installed the software on a different computer, no change. So, that seems to say the issue is somehow with the Xi Tour, not the PC. I don't know what caused this for sure. It worked fine for a few months, then we tried the E6 demo and the Creative Golf 3D demo. Sometime around then the problem started. The Flightscope support guys have remoted in, twice, and saw the issue. Re-flashed the firmware. In the end they both said they agreed with me that the PC software seems to be trying to level to 0.1 degrees. But they didn't know where it got that number from. They needed to talk to the devs. Oh, and I can connect the PC through USB or WiFi, same issue.

I can get around the issue if I start up the PC app, connect and level. It fails to level. Don't close the PC app, but at the same time connect with Android or iPad. Level with that app, which does level correctly. Get out of the Android or iPad app. The PC software now will read data ok. This doesn't always work, sometime is takes a few times. It's a pain.

I'm just hoping someone here can help. I'm getting a bit desperate. Apologies if this is not the right place to ask this question.

If I ever get a solution to this issue I will post it in case anyone else ever gets it. But, I have found a better workaround. I keep the back leg closed and lean the XiTour against the back wall of the hitting area. I manually adjusted the tilt to 10 degrees. Now when I start the PC app I get the error, but I just ignore it. I start hitting and I get good data. Kind of lame, but it seems to work.
