    Mevo + Camera alignment.

I see a lot of post about alignment but nothing addresses how to know if you are square. I can set the mevo unit anywhere and have the camera alignment line hit the target. My question is how do you know you are square? Should the alignment line in the screen align with the alignment lines in all the smaller screens you see when you use the calibration tool?

Using the ball should do it for you... so if your line goes through the ball on the ground, to the target line on your screen/net etc, then in theory that should be square. I'm assuming the mevo alignment is physical rather than with the left/right arrows in the app.

Agreed. That's how I align/square my unit as well. I put a ball on my mat where I hit from, and I like to put another ball on the floor at the center of my screen or if your center line is offset, put the ball where your range centerline would be on the screen/net, then I use the alignment line in FS golf to set the red alignment line through both balls. That should get you dead online. I think the left and right arrows in the alignment screen can be used to offset/shift the alignment line left and right without moving or twisting the Mevo+ to align, but I try to avoid using those... I would only use those for small minor adjustments not for overall alignment, and honestly, I really haven't found that they significantly increase accuracy in any meaningful way that I can't do by moving the Mevo.. but there may be times you can't easily move the mevo (think on the range, and too many divots where you need to place the Mevo, and the only good way to align from a flat surface is to use the arrows?). Indoors, should't really be a need to use the arrows that I can see unless you have a tricky environment for Mevo placement.

The main reason I avoid using the arrows, is I forget I used them, and they stay set where you adjusted them until you hit the "reset" button on the alignment screen.
Working...
