How does Mevo+ Determine AoA angle of attack?
Since the Mevo+ device sits some 8 to 9 feet behind the ball, how does it determine the AoA? Is it just a math calculation based on the perceived launch?
I ask because when I did the FSGolf yesterday after it uploaded to MyFlightscope and was reviewing, I saw all those AoA numbers grayed out, and at the bottom of the screen it said “for this Wedge type of club this parameter cannot be calculated properly”. That raised my curiosity.
anyone know how they determine it, how reliable/consistent it is, and why it’s reliable for a 9iron but not pitching wedge?
