    .18 firmware release is great

.18 firmware release is working very good from what i have tested so far.

7 iron bump and runs, low and high chips, short and long putts all registering and accurate enough. It's like .12 for me but better. I went from .12 to .17 and felt like putting and chipping got worse but .18 seems to be much better.

Fair play to FS for getting the f/w released they are deffo listening to its users which is great. Superb product imo

Yep agreed. I did some testing after watching your vid and got similar results. Very happy with the update and kudos to FS for continuing to refine the software and device firmware. Next up looking forward to that consolidated software release they have been talking about. Can't wait to be able to open just one app instead of many!

Yea totally agree! one app/program with everything would make it so much easier. I almost never play FS Skills as i just forget about it
They have some great things coming from the sound of it.

I also rolled back .17 and .16 to .12 because putting was terrible. I'm getting the same result with .18. Did you do anything different to get putting to work on .18?

I'm still finding that putting sucks in my environment on 0.18
Putts that would go like 50-60 feet in real life are going maximum 18 feet.

My old ST was better at reading putts than the Mevo+

Same result here. Have to crush putts. Have you talked to FS? They’re trying to figure out a solve. Hoping to get something figured out on Monday.

arwin have you figured out to get putting to work better? I'm still talking with FS several times a week and with no real progress.

They recommended increasing the speeds of the greens to stump 5 and that does make it more playable, but is just making the problem.

Anyone else having any luck getting putts to read better?

          Chipping is very realistic though

Have they fixed the silly spin numbers with the driver? I'm going to update and have a play tomorrow?

Unfortunately, the backspin of the driver is still unreasonably high even on the driving range.

Just made sure my unit was level using foam tiles and seems to work great

Quick question, I had a real bad problem with ghost putts in v0.16. Since I upgraded to v0.17 they have gone away. Has anyone seen this problem in v.018? Don't wanna upgrade if it starts happening again.
I have noticed putting problems on very long putts (40-60ft). Some putts go 26ft when I crush it, some go 80ft. I have figured out that a short quick putt stroke works better for the longer putts. Does the Mevo pick up just the ball or my putter to determine speed? I usually putt from about 5 ft away from the unit and about 12-15ft from the screen. Flat surface, no elevation change.

I don't get ghost putts with .18 having said that i didn't before either so probably not a good comparison for you. I do get putts sometimes that feels like its read the putter head and not tracked the ball. But i believe all measurements are taken from tracking the ball and not club/putter.

I also putt around 5ft from the mevo+ within 9 inches from the target line (my putting strip is to the right of the divot action mat) which give me around 12/13ft to the impact screen

Can't wait to try the new version. I had ghost putting really bad but .17 worked well for me. I will say that it has always seemed hard for me to make 30-40 foot putts. I can control a putt up to 20' pretty well but if I hit it just a bit harder it goes 80'. Chipping is pretty good but I still get a few that go way too far and some short ones that balloon up. I think having some minor issues with a unit at this price point is to be expected.

I can put up with a fair bit for having superior outdoor portability/accuracy and requiring no additional software or subscription fees out of the box.

I wish there was an Android compatible e6 option that shipped with it so I didn't have to give Apple money, but meh.
