  • Ball Placement mevo plus

    Starting my simulator build.

Room width planned was 12 feet hoping for right and left handed golfing with mevo in middle.

Most people say about 14 feet minimum for this type of setup to avoid driver crashing into wall.

I might be able to get 13 feet.

My question is has anybody experimented with how far you can move ball from alignment center and still get accurate readings.

For putting they say up to 9 inches, but if I can move the ball from right to left of center and still get accurate readings it would sure help.

Short indoor mode....Mevo 7 to 8 feet to ball

    Thanks

Can you rig up a sliding track to move the unit left and right and hit offset to give yourself a bit more space?

I thought I had read somewhere that the field of vision was 18 inches wide. Someone may correct me on that. A sliding rail like bubbtubbs mentioned with 2 offset hitting spots will be your best bet as even 13 feet is unlikely to be comfortable.
