FS golf IPad issues

Anyone else have issues with mevo plus and FS golf connecting to an IPad? I don’t have any issues with my cell phone however if I try to connect with my iPad FS Golf freezes up. It will connect with the mevo , but freezes every time. My IPad doesn’t have cellular connection which shouldn’t matter right ?

You have to turn off weather auto-update.
