Mevo+ won't charge

I haven't used my mevo plus in a bit and recently tried to charge it up, only to find that it won't turn on or charge. When I plug it in (using the charging block and cable that came with it), I get lights flashing between the second light from the left (that looks like an ekg line) and the first battery light. The ekg light is red and the battery light is yellow. It just continues to flash between those forever and never charges, nor am I able to turn it on even when plugged in.

Any suggestions on what that means?

Ok well I did get ahold of flightscope, they suggested I try replacing the battery (at my cost) to save the hassle of mailing it in to them. Luckily a replacement battery was not very expensive, however I was only able to find a 2600 mAH battery locally versus the 3500 mAH they came with. It did, however, fix the issue albiet potentially with less battery life now. I'd be tempted to ask them to mail me a replacement battery but given how quickly it died (6 months) I'm not sure of the quality of the batteries they use.
