Mevo+ Blinking Red LED when off

I have a call into support, but maybe someone has dealt with this. The unit is working perfectly, but when it’s off and not charging the left LED blinks red. Can’t find any documentation of what that means. Anyone dealt with this?

    Thanks,
    Mike

That happened to me about 1 year into owning the unit.

Typically that is caused by the battery dying. How long have you had the unit for?

I don't understand why a $2000 device is designed to get just 90 minutes of use on a full charge.

Just buy a battery pack for it.

This video shows you how to run on external power so it doesn’t shut off. You can also get an external battery pack as someone else mentioned.

Here's the FlightScope's official PDF on how to replace the 18650 battery that's used inside the Mevo+. Super easy to do. Just get a good quality "protected" 18650 battery for best runtime and performance. I bought my Mevo+ recently so don't have any battery issues yet, but I've opened mine up and found that it's got a Nitecore NL1835 (not HP) inside. Really glad that FlightScope used a common battery and made it user replaceable.
