e6 connect handicap

Hi guys, im playing E6 with my Mevo+ and im wondering how to i get my official handicap now im running1.8.0.2

I was able to adjust my handicap manually for a few days, but it seems that option has been removed again and it tells me that e6 will adjust my handicap from valid rounds.

What constitutes a valid round - one without mulligans but what about gimmes? I have 1.5m gimmes turned on - does that affect things? Can my handicap adjust from normal stroke rounds? I have played 85 events - however only 3 show up on my e6 portal.. is this because of the update its wiped the older rounds? Do i need a minimum of 4 valid rounds? This is driving me a bit crazy to be honest - I will probably end up moving to TGC2019 to see how that is if I cant get this fixed

posted here as well as trugolf forum, seems the flightscope is a bit more active and hopefully someone with teh same hardware has an answer? :-)

I think you have to play 4 or more rounds with the new slope and ratings for each course. I can understand your frustration with 85 rounds being deleted! You would think they could migrate your old data to new update.

Do you know if gimmies affect whether a round is valid for handicap or not? I have just completed another round and no handicap. I actually can see all ym all rounds are still in the e6 connect portal - I had to click the right arror at the top to scroll though them.. Its not a great interface is it. Pretty poor if E6 cant get handicap working, how hard can it be?

I’ve played about a dozen rounds since the update and still no handicap change. I put my initial handicap at 3 and I’m guessing it should’ve gone down. After each round I see my net score so the new course/slope ratings are being recognized. I am using 5ft gimmies but have not had any messages prior to starting a round saying that my round will not be valid, as it does if you try to take a mulligan. Is the new handicap system working for anybody - as in it is changing with your round scores? Perhaps 12 rounds isn’t enough to establish it.

have you tried mixing up courses? just wondering if only counts one round per course...

I have played several rounds as well with no update to handicap. TruGolf can maybe help us out on this issue?

Yeah as much as I like this software if they dont get it working I will be moving on to another sim software when my license expires next month. Can you guys reccommend another software that compatible witht he mevo+? Is it only TGC2019 at this stage or is there anything else on the horizon?

What does -9 mean? In real life I'm a 3 handicap. Tend to shoot a few strokes better on e6 than reality, but most scores between-3 and +5. Not sure where -9 comes in, but if that holds I would never have a chance of winning anything.

Hi Dubville - im curious to know what kind of events/games you are playing to get a handicap? Are you just playing standard play golf - stroke rounds? No Mulligans obviously, but also using autoputt? What version of e6 connect are you on? and what firmware / version of mevo+?

Its driving me crazy I cant get an online handicap :-(

I'm on the most recent version. I think 1.8.1.9. I use uneekor, not flightscope (not sure it matters what LM is)

So after updating to the latest 1.8.1.9 version of E6 connect it seems its giving me a handicap again. Great hopefully this stays working, although I think 6.7 is a bit low for me to be honest!!
